At Aquaglide we pride ourselves on first class customer service and brand integrity. We strive to manufacture our products to the highest standards and proudly stand behind these products, occasionally a product may exhibit a true manufacturing defect. Once a warranty claim is submitted our staff will review your submission and deliver a prompt resolution.

Warranty Information by Product

Warranty Coverage

Manufacturing defects. This includes general workmanship, seam failures, and material failure due to manufacturing defect.

Products designed for a commercial setting, camp or municipality (example, a city pool) are considered commercial products. Commercial products are normally exposed to a greater number of users.

Commercial Aqua Park
The warranty term for commercial aqua park products is (3) years from the date of purchase. Warranty coverage includes all critical manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover abuse, cosmetic blemishes, or wear-and-tear on consumptive parts and accessories. Commercial products under an approved warranty claim may be repaired or replaced, in part or entirely, at the sole discretion of Aquaglide. Commercial products in use for more than (2) years but less than (3) years may also be pro-rated based on condition and use for credit at the sole discretion of Aquaglide. Consumptive parts such as straps, handles, ropes, footsteps and D-rings are easily repairable and may or may not be replaced under warranty depending on the cause of failure.

Items Not Covered Under Warranty

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Freight damage (*a freight claim must be filed to cover damage caused during shipping)
  • Damage while in storage (damage from freezing temperatures or damage from impact)
  • Damage to internal workings from sand or debris (specific to Aquaglide pumps)
  • Repairable, simple punctures or tears
  • Damage caused by sharp object when opening boxed product
  • Damage caused by dragging product during installation
  • Damage caused by exceeding the recommended number of users
  • External parts such as handles, footsteps and D-rings
  • Excessive UV exposure without proper treatment (material breakdown, fading, fabric deterioration)
  • Damage due to over-inflation
  • Damage, or failure caused by excessive heat from sun exposure
  • Vandalism or intended damage
  • Product failure due to force majeure, acts of God, or inclement weather
  • Improper maintenance and/or cleaning
  • Animal damage
  • Damage caused by marine growth
  • Damage caused by chemicals or poor water quality
  • Damage caused by improper anchoring

Warranty Claim Requirements

  1. A dated proof of purchase in the form of the original invoice, for the original owner.
  2. A clear, high resolution photo visibly showing the serial number.
  3. High resolution photos of the whole product.
  4. High resolution photo of the defective product that shows leak in soapy water, if applicable (a minimum of 1 photo is required).
  5. If possible, a video showing the leak or issue, along with the serial number (preferred).

Warranty Coverage

Aqua park pieces
The warranty term for non-commercial aqua park products, pieces used in a recreational setting, is (3) years from the date of purchase. Warranty coverage includes all critical manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover abuse, cosmetic blemishes, or wear-and-tear on consumptive parts and accessories.

Commercial products under an approved warranty claim may be repaired or replaced, in part or entirely, at the sole discretion of Aquaglide. Commercial products in use for (2) years or less qualify for full replacement. Products in use for up to (3) years may also be replaced, repaired or pro-rated for credit at the sole discretion of Aquaglide.

Watersports Products
Other Aquaglide products such as loungers, SUP (stand up paddle boards), paddles, pumps and accessories all have a (1) year consumer warranty. Aquaglide pumps and accessories have a (90) day warranty against manufacturing defects.

Kayak
Aquaglide kayaks are manufactured to the highest standards in the paddle sports industry.If a kayak exhibits a failure or flaw that is approved by our team as a warranty defect, we may send out replacement bladders, covers or accessories to make your kayak function as intended in a timely manner. Please review our parts list for what accessories can be replaced for our kayak lines.

Frequently Asked Warranty Questions

Yes. The warranty coverage is only applicable to the original owner/purchaser. Warranties are non- transferrable.

If this product was purchased from a friend, garage sale, craigslist, etc., it’s not an authorized dealer. If you’re unsure, you can search for authorized dealers here: view Aquaglide authorized dealers

We recommend using a soapy water solution and spraying down the product. Another method is to submerge the item underwater and look for bubbles at the leak site.

In most cases, the warranty is voided if any unauthorized repair, change, or modification has been made to any part of the product. Authorized repairs are issued in writing, directly from Aquaglide.

Returns are processed on a case-by-case basis and items can only be returned if a Return Authorization (RA) number is provided by Aquaglide.

The warranty only applies to the original item purchase date. The warranty is not extended if a replacement item is issued.
