Add a Universal Mount (fits Scotty, Yak Attack, RAM and other accessories) to any kayak or SUP using this high-quality universal mounting plate. It can be used as an add-on or replacement for a damaged mounting plate and, with it’s robust base and welded backing plates, helps prevent damage to your inflatable craft due to screw overset.
PLEASE NOTE: This fitting accepts only 1/4-20 Stainless mounting screws (not included). Mounting screws should be Stainless Steel (either #304 or #316 SS alloys work and are widely available). Screw length required can vary between ¾” (19mm) and 1” (25mm) in length depending on the type of accessory being mounted to it. The screw head required can also vary between pan head and countersunk depending on the accessory. Standard length for Scotty brand mounts is 1″, however, different lengths may be required for mounting products from other brands. Using too long a mounting screw can prevent your Universal Mount accessory from being snugly secured to mounting plate.
