Are you aware mosaic tile date back to the Egyptian era. Well today at DRP Tools LLC we offer mosaic pool tile designs. Each pool tile design is one of a kind & consists of up to 200 individual pieces of 3/8" thick double glaze inlay tile specially hand crafted. Color shade and size variations are inherent qualities in all hand crafted mosaic pool tile design.

Each design is made up of numerous small tiles of all shapes and sizes fired first to create the hard bisque. After the bisque has cooled then the color glaze is hand painted on each small piece some pieces having three or more colors to create the special look for that design. Then once again these tiles are fired at very high temperature to create that special color and deep gloss glaze that makes our designs so eye catching. Size is determined by the approximant flat space you will need to install the mosaic designs without installation failure. Mosaics must be installed before plaster with quality thin set mortar & grouted. Covering the mosaic design with painters tape before plastering will prevent damage during plaster application.
Designs start to come to life after each small piece of hand painted tile is adhered to the backer mesh. Tile by tile the mosaic is created.
Using mosaic tile inlay designs has become a trend in modern day new construction as well as renovation of older construction.
Mosaics inlays must be cemented prior to the plaster finish and/or re-plastering of the swimming pool.
